The committee thanked him for all of his hard work and dedication. * Committee members will be sharing the Rally Secretary duties until a replacement is appointed. * Marshals will receive the equipment they need for this years rallies in advance. * New waterproof club stickers have been produced and issued. * The Stapleford Miniature Railway fundraising weekend was a great success, raising £1,734.07 and we now have another £58 to add to the total for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance. * Final arrangements were agreed for the Market Bosworth BBQ Rally, including catering, games, raffle and volunteer roles. * The committee would like to thank everyone who has volunteered to help at upcoming BBQ rally. * Work continues to recruit a new Rally Secretary, and members interested in the role are encouraged to come forward. * Dogs to be kept on leads at all times. * ...

  Rally Secretary Vacancy    ( only club members may apply ) Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to Paul for all the hard work, time and dedication he has given to the club during his time as our Rally Secretary. Paul has recently decided to step down from the role, and on behalf of the committee and all our members, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for everything he has done over the past year. Organising rallies and helping to ensure our events run smoothly takes a great deal of time and commitment, and we are extremely grateful for all his efforts. We wish Paul all the very best and hope he continues to enjoy many rallies with us as a valued member of the 4C’s. With Paul stepping down, we are now looking to appoint a new Rally Secretary.   Can I just say what a fantastic weekend we had at our fundraiser at Stapleford Miniature Railway! The committee and members worked their socks off all weekend, and I would personally like to thank each and every one of you who attended. Your hard work, friendship, enthusiasm and willingness to help made the weekend what it was. It was great to see everyone getting the opportunity to step away from the stall at times and explore the new venue, enjoy the atmosphere and spend time together. Whilst it was a shame that the train wasn’t running and that a number of vendors were unable to attend, the members of the FSMR Club made us feel incredibly welcome and the local community were so friendly and supportive throughout the event. Although the footfall appeared lower than in previous years, possibly due to the train not running, I am confident that we have still done very well.   For those attending the rally at the weekend. DIRECTIONS TO STATFOLD Our full address is STATFOLD BARN RAILWAY, Ashby Road, Tamworth, B79 0BU. If you’re relying on SAT NAV, please enter the full address rather than just the postcode, this will avoid being misdirected to a farm on Clifton Lane. When on the Ashby Road (B5493), please keep an eye out for a ‘Cadbury’ Engine along with signs for Statfold Country Park. ARRIVAL Once you have turned off the Ashby Road (B5493) and onto the main drive for Statfold Country Park carry on straight ahead. You will pass Statfold Seed Oil and Statfold Engineering (on your left), continue straight. Just after passing through the first set of main gates, approach very slowly (there is bend in the road).
